As the widest ski in the Hustle line, the 11 is the floatiest of the group, and the best-suited for fresh and soft snow adventures. Blizzard is at a huge advantage with the Hustle 11 because they’re able to borrow shaping and profiling technologies from their Rustler line while bringing in new features like the TrueBlend Freeride wood core and the Carbon DRT laminate. By replacing the metal with carbon, Blizzard is able to lighten the load of the ski, bringing the 180 cm length down to about 1850 grams per ski, and bringing the touring possibility into the fold. By no stretch, does this carbon lack in performance, either, allowing strong skiers to really stand on the ski and get a ton of energy and power out of it. TrueBlend has proven worthy in the other areas of Blizzard’s skis, and it follows suit here with the Hustle 11. By layering stringers of beech, poplar, and paulownia in a strategic manner, Blizzard is able to fine-tune and specifically construct the core of the ski to fit a freeride personality.
